Another holiday favorite in my family but this time came from my aunt is Gobs. Of course, Gobs is also known in many areas as Whoopie Pies but we always called them Gobs so sticking with our naming. Our traditional Gob was your two chocolate cookies ends with a white vanilla filling but I decided to take it a little bit farther. Instead of just one filling flavor I decided to up it to three different filling flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate and Peanut Butter (in the picture it goes Peanut Butter at the top, Chocolate in the middle and Vanilla at the bottom). With the three flavors, I would say my favorite is the Peanut Butter but all are a wonderful treat!
Every logo I try to do something a little different so I don’t have very similar looking logos, variety is important when it comes to graphic design. For Gobs, the logo layout was that of a page that consist of a page border and main content. The page border was given a simple design with a clear inner side on the left and edge side on the right. Then for the main content, the title “Gobs” was given a handwritten font and paired with a silhouette symbol of a Gob.
